The GOL Program - acronym for "Employability Guarantee for Workers" - is a national intervention envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan aimed at implementing a reform in active labor policies and in the management of services aimed at combating unemployment, in a perspective of economic and social inclusion. It envisages an offer of free public services to support people looking for a new job through accompaniment to job insertion or reintegration and professional skills updating.
With a provision of resources equal to 4.4 billion euros, by 2025 it will involve 3 million beneficiaries, of which 800 thousand in training activities. The GOL Program is implemented by the Regions and Autonomous Provinces on the basis of Regional Implementation Plans (PAR), approved by Anpal.
The GOL Program is aimed at those facing situations of unemployment, job transition or in jobs with low incomes.

Specialist orientation
Instruments:
Individualized interview;
Counseling;
Information on the system and on the skills assessment/certification pathways;
The interview can be carried out in person or remotely via a video meeting platform (Zoom), preferably individually.
The interview(s) are aimed at stimulating narrative practices in order to support the construction of a professional project or promote greater awareness of it, basing it on the skills acquired during one's training and/or work path. The specialist orientation is characterized as a tool and reflective modality centered on self and others. The interview based on narrative practices makes possible an autobiographical device capable of facilitating a re-elaboration and interpretation of knowledge and skills; calls for a description of how we have become with respect to training and work, within a relational context that has contributed to transforming our personal and professional identity. The specialist orientation also implies a re-elaboration of one's personal experience, calls for personal and group reflection with respect to some dimensions of our life stories and, at the same time, generates a set of desires, aspirations and passions, which must necessarily be managed not to leave them in the shade.
Accompaniment to work
Instruments:
Motivational support for the development of skills and competences aimed at achieving the professional goal (Coaching);
Support in drafting the CV and cover letters;
Active job search support;
Preparation for the proper conduct of job interviews;
The interview can be carried out in person or remotely via a video meeting platform (Zoom), preferably individually.
The work support activity will be carried out on an individual basis and will include meetings also aimed at strengthening digital skills for active job search. At the end of the accompaniment path, an activity plan will be drawn up which also indicates the economic-professional reference sector with reference to the Labor and Qualifications Atlas. The plan will specify the reasons for the choices made in line with the strategy to be implemented to achieve the objective, the contents of the activity and the parameters that are placed at the basis of these choices of the path of accompaniment to subordinate or self-employed work.
The methodology adopted will be based on the laboratory tools developed within the "Adult Skills for Job Oriented Breakthrough" project, Erasmus program (2017-1-IT02-KA204-036755). The methodology consists of a path of development of cognitive skills associated with digital skills to support the job search in order to help the user to use the basic technologies of the information society (IST) in a critical spirit, both in of work, both for professional and personal development.
